Contaminated Soil Management

For over 27 years, Nelson has been a leading provider of site remediation services, specializing in the treatment and management of impacted soil. They have completed hundreds of projects and treated millions of tonnes of soil, offering a comprehensive range of services to meet project needs.

With Nelson's background in soil remediation, the vision is to expand operations at Mill Bay to incorporate soil remediation components, including bringing thermal soil treatment technology to Vancouver Island and offering expertise to address local environmental issues.

Nelson's Direct-Fired and Indirect-Fired Thermal Desorption Systems treat hydrocarbon-impacted soils, removing liability and allowing soils to be cleaned and reused. Indirect thermal units also produce biochar, a valuable soil amendment.
